Hey Dave.

I've read that you have a Line6 Spider 2.

And I was wondering do you have any Special settings that you use as far as Bass, Treble and Middle?

or is that top secret cool.gif

Good question...
It kind of depens of what I'm doing..
But for the lessons, here are the setting:

Distorsion lead:
Bass: 7
Mids: 5.5
Trebble: 7

Clean lead:
Bass: 6
Mids: 6
Trebble: 6

It's all factory presets.. I just use preset 2 for clean and 4 for distortion...

It works good for my needs, but I should get more into tweaking sound..

Hi David,

I have that exact amp and I'm wondering how you go straight into the computer. Are you going from the line out in the front of the amp plugged directly into your PC? I have a new laptop which is pretty decent and I've got the sound card on the side with a line-in represented by a microphone icon. Do you go right into that with a stereo mini plug? I'm affraid I might fry the sound card so I haven't done that yet.

Good question...
Well, I use an external USB soundcard which has guitar friendly inputs.
It's a great soundcard actually which I recomend to anyone wanting to get into recording.
It's the M-Audio Omnistudio USB..
I don't think you'll get a great sound with mini jacks, but maybe?

Thanks Davis. I have a PODxt as well, but I was wondering about the mini jack thing. I don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon. biggrin.gif
