Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Powerful rhythmic approach! Tight and good timing, but the little lead part at the end would need some more fire in it biggrin.gif it's a bit 'shadowed' if we could say it like that, by the awesomeness of the first part! Keep up the good work man!

Christian, in the sort time I've been at GMC you've transformed into a riff machine cool.gif

You've got the necessary attitude and groove to make rock riffs come alive..

I agree with C-Maestro that the lead parts aren't as strong but they're still close enough to the original and good enough for a 9 !!

Hi mate! It's great to see you rocking my lesson! smile.gif If we divide the lesson in 3 sections we have:
1. The first melodies: I think that this part is played perfectly.
2. The power chords: This section sound good but you should concentrate on going tighter with the drums. There are some parts that sound a bit out of timing.
3: The solo: The solo is ok. The tone should have a bit more sustain. Some bends don't reach the correct pitch. And also you should try to pick stronger the double string ideas to make both strings sound at the same level.

With those details fixed you'll have a flawless take. Keep on rocking! wink.gif

Great job on the rhythm! Good timing and clear picking! Solo needs a little more work! You got the notes right just need to get more confident when you are playing it! I think a little more practicing and you will get it!

Look at that PINKY go! Nice! I'm so proud of your pinky work here I can barely stand it! Just goes to show what a little vid chat finger torture hour after hour, chat after chat, and wads of practice, can do! The reach is very good and you stick the landing each time!

Playing this without a good command of the little finger would be quite tough. Also, your right hand work is quite good as well! Picking and fingering working together nicely. In short NICE!

Todd
