Hey GMCers,

My names Tristan and I just found this awesome website. I started playing guitar young but lost touch with it when I learned how to smoke a bongload. Needless to say I don't smoke many bongloads anymore and I'm trying to become a better player. I currently work at a recording studio as an engineer and want to improve my playing so I can become a better producer as well. I'd classify myself as an intermediate player with an intermediate knowledge of theory as well.

I've been playing a lot of fingerstyle delta blues recently due to the fact I can never find my pick. I finally found my pick and have been trying to improve my picking technique and I'm really looking to improve my ear and improvisational skillset. If anyone has any tips on good lessons I'd be very intersted. So far I've only done the Soul/RnB and Blue Soloing: Beginners lesson.

Cheers,
T

ah yes, many a life has been depleted from the infamous bongload( which i am sure aided in the loss of the pick
anyway, I know this is advanced , but it has good backing at slow speeds and memorizing this alone will help to develop your picking tech.
and welcome

p.s. i can't play this either, but I believe learning it helped me as well
