The simplicity of this sandwich is astounding, just three simple ingredients: Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato. Well, four if you include the mayonnaise. The name give for this sandwich is the BLT. Such a simple sandwich and yet complex textures.

I'd like the BLT if it wasn't for the T. I'd prefer it as a BL smile.gif

Why no tomato? Are you allergic? You can always switch the ingredients for others...instead of Lettuce how about alfa sprout? How about canadian bacon instead of regular bacon? Eggplant instead of tomatoes?

No man, they just taste horrible !!

I don't mind tomato when it's un-intrusive, like in pizza or a curry or some other dish... but tomato on its own, which hasn't been chopped up or disguised is just too much for me. I've never liked them.

Hey, I love cheese !! Just not in a sandwich formation ! It's got a lot to do with the consistency and texture of it all..
