Hi!! I am glad you have decided to join
I have a few questions before we will start:

- What recording software do you use? (if any)
- What type of DAW do you have? (if any)
- What are your favorite styles?
- What would you like to learn?* (Record your own music, make backing tracks, record guitar, mix, master, arrange?)
* We will cover all topics but I would like to see what your priorities are!
Looking forward to start working with you!

Awesome! You have a nice software
DAW (Thanks to tonymiro) is a software you run on your computer
It is all starts with drums and it is really important to have a good groove! smile.gif
What type of drums software do you use (if any)?
Also is your system runs AU or VST plugins?

A DAW is a digital audio workstation. Most nowadays are based around a computer but some are stand alone systems. The DAW is used to record, mix and play back digitised audio. It includes the sequencer program (which is often referred to as the DAW). Some examples of sequencers include Cubase, Logic, Protools, Sonar, Reaper, and in your
case Acid.

Acid is pc based and as such is VST/VSTi compatable rather than AU.

Thank you very much for detailed explanation! smile.gif
