Well my fellow GMCers, I am currently working Marcus's Winding Roads. I just wanted to post my progress and hopefully get some feedback. And yes i got some new recording gear (haha I always call it that, but its just a differnet webcam haha), so yea the quality is really bad. And also note, that i didnt tune my guitar a 1/2 step down.

Ive only been working on this for a week so bare with me, and the backing is well alot louder than my guitar, sorry sad.gif. Im tired so ill do a better one tomorrow.

Dont be to rough with me guys!!

This is with backing:

Heres the sweeping part that i think i did alright on, its my attempt at full speed I THINK, so just bare with me please and let me know how im doing!!

P.S. How do you do that floating effect? I know the extra added note, but still I just cant seem to get things to float lol.

Its hard to tell exactly how well you got it though without you being in correct tunning.I would practice it afew days and rerecord it in E flat smile.gif

My Advice
Figure out what you want in life early.Wether it's the girl, the partying
or mastering the guitar.Adding any 2 together will get in your way.

Dude thats all I really practice, sometimes ill switch, but its a hassle form going to this lesson, and the gently sweeping lesson, keep on tuning and detuning get what i mean. But yeah when i offically get the song down. Im gonna tune half a step down.

Agreed, it sounds very out of tune. I practice marcus's lessons in standard tuning as well but if I was to record I would tune it down smile.gif
