Ok, not the most manly of posts I admit.. but some of you artists might be interested in this. An art students 'realistic' take on classic princesses and characters from Disney stories. smile.gif

You'll probably notice resemblances to famous actresses.. I definitely saw the Maggie Gyllenhal and Salma Hayek influence.

amazing pieces of art. The image of Jane totally reminds me of someone..... not the two women mentioned beside the pic but she totally reminds me of another actress and its driving me nuts now trying to remember her huh.gif

It's a proven fact that guitar faces have a bigger impact on tone than wood does.

actually, yeah it looks a lot like her. I was thinking a young Laura Roslin ( the president from battlestar ) but Maggie Gyllenha is a lot closer to it.

the drawings of Jane and Mulan look almost like photographs.

Just because you aren't planning on doing 31 shredders in one solo doesn't mean you get to revert back to a little girl on me.... Fluffy teddy bears and now Disney Princesses? What's going on around here? Where am I? Hurry get me Slavenko now! Ben needs intervention!

J/K I have an artist friend who can draw realistic images like that and it blows me away... So much talent.

Oh, and Steamboat Willie is awesome. Just don't get confused and do a search for it on Urban Dictionary. DOH!

Hehe, Sensible I think you meant to post this in Grace's thread but ended up clicking my thread which was exclusively about the princesses, whereas Grace's thread allowed for other characters too. She wasn't as discriminating as I was biggrin.gif
