I'm really sad to say that Clive Burr, Maiden's former drummer, passed away on March 12, 2013 sad.gif

I've been a Maiden fan since I was like 7 years old. The first metal song I ever heard was Fear of The Dark, and I fell in love with it almost instantly...

I'm devastated on hearing this sad.gif

RIP Clive Burr.

Just heard that news myself.
I was fortunate enough to see him play with Maiden in 1980 when they were promoting the first Album.

RIP Clive.

The music of artists like Clive lives forever. He was indeed one of the greatest drummers who ever lived.

Very sad news !! sad.gif

Clive was a brilliant drummer and a great guy by the sounds of it too.

Cruel irony that he passed away on Steve Harris's birthday.
