I missed the last one as well so I'm gonna try and come up with something for this. This style/speed is pretty tricky for me though.

From what I usually hear from you, I foresee an incredibly tasty solo. Don't worry about the speed, I'm sure you can come up with something cool.

Hails headbangers,

Here is my take in honour of the power of thy axe.

PS. you can scratch my intro if it doesn't fit with the final mix (just having a bit of fun there).

Holy shred! This is a piece of pure perfection. You continue the path set by Gabriel of killing false metal!

Great backing work Hungry!!

Thank you, Hb. I'm expecting a take from you this time! smile.gif

Beautiful solo man, but your sound's a bit buzzy, try tweaking it maybe by lowering the mids?

Hey guys, here is my offering to thy Guitar Gods.

Hungry, really nice track brother. I don't dip my toes in this style too much but this backing was too good to resist.

Slav, I've attached a wav for the bare guitar file. Let me know if you need a different format. Looking forward to the rest of the takes!

Guys! All these fantastic takes in only a few days, it's really overwhelming. I didn't expect this to become so popular, but I'm very happy about the situation. Slav is gonna have a blast when mixing all this together!

Yup, sounds a bit Maidenish. And nothing wrong with that, it's a great solo! As Slavenko said, the sound is a bit buzzy. Everything will be perfect when you deliver a new recording.

Thanks, man! I don't know where you got the idea about "too tricky". This is at least as good as I expected; very well executed, excellent note choices and the tone is facemelting!

I think greg is making fun of us all here(or at least me) . Firstly he states that track is "too fast" ... and "not suites his style" ,then he blasts us with such amazing take... how modest he is ! laugh.gif wink.gif

laugh.gif Thanks Slav & Hungry.

I promise I'm not messing with you. The one thing I can do cleanly at that tempo is single string tapping so that bailed me out in the first part. The second part was a little easier to work over with the swingy feel to it.

I have been doing a good amount of AP work lately so hopefully I can really get down to business with you guys in the somewhat near future.

Sounds ace! The tapping part reminds of Iron Maiden - The Prisoner solo! The second half reminds me of this tasty player named Greg. smile.gif

Woah, this solo has a high energy. A couple clashed note/chords but overall really cool moments- like the :22-26 harmony and the chromatic slides and fast pentatonic runs. I could not detect any false metal moments here. smile.gif
