How about MELECESH? They are not strictly speaking, "Black Metal" but more "Blackened Metal" borrowing some elements from Black Metal. I like how they borrow all sorts of influences and mix them in. Our founder KRIS DAHL was actually instructed on guitar from one of the members of MELECESH if I remember correctly Small world!! Not to mention, they were considered pretty darn Evil in their home town JERUSALEM. And ran afoul of the law just a bit for being so a tad beyond the dark side of Evil and eventually left the Holy Land. You gotta say, it takes pretty big stones to be a Black/Blackened Metal band in the Holy Land

I'm not sure about Kris studying with him, I know that he studied with Therion's guitarist. Nobody Mentioned Bathory??? Because they created FIRST Black Metal Album - Under the Sign of the Black Mark !!!! " It was recorded in September 1986 and released on 11 May 1987, through New Renaissance Records and Under One Flag. It was a key album in the development of the black metal genre,[4][5] and greatly influenced the Norwegian black metal scene that emerged in the early 1990s.[6] " This one should be definitely covered. -------------------- My lessons
