Oh my...So many lessons blink.gif

So so lost and confused.....

Where to start??

Maybe I should chose one lesson from each section huh.gif

Just that I'm interested in about everything..... rolleyes.gif

Soooo the question is this....

Who started where??? smile.gif

My standard answer to this is: Kris' one-on-one lessons, specially his lessons on the Pentatonic scale.

Welcome Natasha, let us know how we can help and we'll try. What sort of guitar do you want to play? Who are your heroes? If we know that we could suggest some good lessons for you to start with I am sure!

My heroes? Let's see...
Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, BB King, John Frusciante, Angus Young, Steve Vai, Ry Cooder, Jim Hall, Pat Metheny, Richie Blackmore, James Burton, Adam Jones, Warren Haynes, Mattias Eklundh...
Those are the ones I can think of right now)
And uh...well...so many to discover yet smile.gif

I'm a lot into theory...Just need to know every note I play, which gives me headaches sometimes lol if I concentrate too much on it smile.gif I noticed there are tabs to every video lessons but no music notation, well, there is, but in the guitar pro file, right? And as far as I know the longer you go on with tabs only when you learn to play the guitar the harder it will be to dig into theory when you've finally made up your mind to it...since it's a whole different world, whole different way of thinking of your fretboard. So I have another question now smile.gif
How to um...balance theory with it's practical use and the purely technique part in every lesson and keep your sanity? rolleyes.gif

Welcome Natasha - nice to see someone with a broad taste in guitar players music. Jim Hall to Eklundh takes in a lot of territory (and maybe overlaps mine quite a bit smile.gif ). I like to think I like any guitar playing as long as its done well and all the players you name are great players. If you get the chance maybe check out Allan Holdsworth, John Mclaughlin, Mike Stern, Joe Pass, Pat Martino, Bret Garsed, Shawn Lane and Alex Machacek as well.

Cheers,
Tony
