Hey Todd - nice of you to share this - it looks like a fairly simple pedalboard, right?

Anyone ever get the chance to play one of the WARHEAD stacks? No I don't. Even I haven't tried using an EQ like that before my amp, sounds like a good idea at least to try. I wonder what happens if I experiment connecting my guitar to my computer, use some good EQ plug ing the connect my soundcard to a reamp to finally connect it to my amp... just to experiment what results I can get... -------------------- My lessons

It's actually one wah and two whammys, but why 2? I think that he used different settings and as it can't be programmed he decided to have two of them. -------------------- My lessons

Ahh I love me a good Dimebag gear discussion.
They're missing an integral part of his tone - an MXR Flanger/Doubler. If memory serves, he also never actually used the Warhead Mk I - he may have used the much rarer and more respected X2, though. I've ALWAYS wanted to get my hands on one of those... definitely a bucketlist amp for me. -------------------- http://www.six-string-samurai.com - Gear reviews for the terminally GAS-afflicted.

Washburn Dime 3 in Dimeslime, Southern Cross and Stealth are probably on my list of holy grail guitars...

Haha yeah I probably wouldn't gig pointies any more (though I used to when I was younger, haha) - still would be nice to have in the collection!

As I think I said before - my first electric guitar, was a copy of a Randy Rhoads Flying V - a very pointy guitar

The age old question. To gig somewhat silly looking pointies or to keep them in ones collection just for love of having them around. hmmm. I'll be the first to admit these guitars are a bit over the top But that's part of their charm. I started buying wacky shapes a bit back and got in to before I even realized. Next thing I knew I had an Ibanez Xiphos and several Dean Dime guitars. I ended up selling most of them actually, but I did keep the razorback to modify. Heh, yeah I started off as a brash teenager ONLY playing LPs (loved Slash) or pointy guitars. For years I wouldn't buy it unless it was a non-traditional shape! I've pretty much moved away from them completely these days... but one day when I'm middle aged and hopefully have more $$$ to play with, I can see myself buying a whole stack of pointy things just for the nostalgia factor. -------------------- http://www.six-string-samurai.com - Gear reviews for the terminally GAS-afflicted.
