Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.
I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:
* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!
* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.
* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.
* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.
* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.
* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?
* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

hey dude. Ive been working on the day / night collab and wanted to get your thoughts on what Ive got, I was using Matt's harmonic minor thread which you suggested as a base which gave me some really cool sounding notes which, I think work but they could also be wildly out!!
obviously I went for the dark side https://soundcloud.com/bleez666/night -------------------- You say 'minor pentatonic ' like it's a bad thing |

Good job at learning how to use it ! |

hey dude thought Id check in here and give you a quick update on my practising. I read your post on the winter collab, thanks for the interest in my progression, its appreciated.
main focus recently has been alternate picking, trying to lay the groundwork for facemelting runs I spend about 40 mins per day on Todds shred lessons. Just working along with the metronome trying to increase the speed. I think Ive made some progress.... its slow going though. Ive also added a few patterns I found on youtube so basically just run through all of that for about 40 mins. I struggled with Bens hand sync II lesson so I began working on Darius' alt picking 2 and Gabs Maiden lesson. Ive got Daruis' one up to full speed ( with the occasional mistake) Gabs' is maybe 10bpm off full speed ( it was a bit faster than I thought!). I usually begin practice by running through the songs / solos Ive been learning. Paranoid, ironman and comfortably numb mainly ( finally managed to learn the whole 2nd solo for comfortably numb!). I have a video lesson for 'shine on you crazy diamond' and was thinking about trying that next.... tons of bends! Thats more or less my basic practice routine lately, I sometimes try to focus on legato but TBH a lot of the time I overrun on the other stuff so legato stuff has been a little sporadic. My Les Paul is going into the shop tomorrow for a full refret and setup ( finally) but I have a Strat copy to use in the meantime so I can still play. -------------------- You say 'minor pentatonic ' like it's a bad thing |
