Hey guys! I found this cool article about Argentines and I have to confirm that everything said there is true. I invite you to read it to know more about my country and the people here.. laugh.gif

There are off course some "ego" here but that's another characteristic of the Argentinian people.

http://www.buzzfeed.com/conzpreti/things-a...know-to-be-true

and then you can compare it with your people!

I was in Buenos Aires for a week several years ago. I had one of the best times of my life there.
Do you guys ever sleep? It was more intense than NYC.

In the last year we are having restrictions regarding buying international stuff (items and apps). This is to take care of the national industry but the problem is that there are lots of things that aren't done here. It's a good basic idea but not completely practical.

I'm serious!
When I was there I was playing for four nights at a club called 'Divino'(?). This place I think ... http://www.panoramio.com/photo/2874749
We wouldn't start until at least midnight (and we'd play until 1:00 or 1:30) then it would turn into a disco. I would stay until probably 3:00 am and as I was leaving there were people just getting there - with perfectly pressed clothing and just coiffed hair. On my walk back to the hotel there would be a ton of folks out walking around. I remember stopping to get a pizza and a beer at like 3:00 am. It was f'n great! I hope it's still like that. New Yorker's got nothin' on the Argentines.

I do agree! smile.gif Basic idea is very good smile.gif But somebody should rethink the list of items that have argentinian substitues. Like in Poland. You can buy a lot of great guitars not so expensive comparing to standard U.S models but...If You're a teenager looking for beginner guitar You would not get one. We are not able to fight with chinese, cheap products. Any I like the idea.

yes, it's still like this. Buenos Aires has a lot of tourism and night activity, mostly in the center of the city. You can go out every nigh of the week and you will find restaurants, bars and other cool things to do. We say that Asado is our national food but I can say that everybody eats more pizza than Asado. You can always get a pizza, no matter if it's 5 pm or 5 am. laugh.gif

This is exactly what's not happening. It's so silly, even, there are some industries here that need to import things to make possible the fabrication of their products, and they have problems with those importations. Sad but true.. the ineptitude of Argentinean politicians... mad.gif
