Great! I'm glad to know that you enjoyed the session. I think that the whole course could be VERY useful for you so I would like to invite you to start working on the different weeks here. Starting with the week number one that is based on the caged system, major scales, diatonic sequences and major arpeggios. This workout should take 30 minutes of practice every day but it will have a big impact in your guitar playing and the connection between your mind and guitar.

Just let me know if you want to start and we will give it a try!

I want to do that to ! biggrin.gif There's so much to do that I feel lost. But, until the time I can't get my guitar, I'll focus more on my vocals and acoustic stuff with Cosmin smile.gif We're training my voice and my ears right now. smile.gif Once I get my new guitar, lead guitar and riffs here we come. And, I wanted to let you know that I might be playing at the college fest in November smile.gif Symphony of Destruction and Countdown to Extinction, if I get a band together that is.

Hi Yash! That's ok for me, let's wait for the new electric guitar and by now keep on training your voice and ear that are very important. I think that having a well trained ear is fundamental for every musician. If you can hear correctly the notes, your can't connect your guitar with your mind so you won't be able to play what you want.

Playing those songs like can be so awesome!! Do you already know the guitar parts? Do you have to play the solos too?

I just always think that I am late at everything dry.gif I am 20 and NOW I start training my ear. I already know those guitar parts. On Countdown, I play the solo (I did it in the video, I can do it) On Symphony, don't know yet. If the other guitarist (which I haven't found yet) can't play the solo, then I'll have to. I learnt the beginning, the slow part. Shredding those fast licks is tough.

Hey Yash! We've been talking about this previously. Stop thinking on the things that you didn't do, and start enjoying all the fantastic things that you are doing nowadays. It's never too late, 20 years, you have much more to live yet so focus on the good things and enjoy the journey.

When is the guitar coming? Any news? biggrin.gif

I guess. I am trying to be more and more positive as time goes by. Just seeing the competition around, and seeing as a fact that I can't sing, I get scared. About the guitar, no idea. Haven't asked him again. He said one and a half month, plus minus two weeks sad.gif I can't wait.

Really ? Oh, I just discovered, I can do the ''She-Wolf'' Gallop biggrin.gif I tried it today and it just magically happened. But, my hand lacks stamina. sad.gif Right hand, and left too. I was looking to play something like this.

On an acoustic of course. But, my rhythm sucks. And I am not very good at chord changes.

Yeah! you would be really surprised if you can compare and old video of you playing with a new one! I recommend you to work on some GMC acoustic lessons in order to train your chord changes and rhythm abilities:

These are some examples:

OK Gab smile.gif I will have a look. I told you about me probably getting in a band ? Well, I played with them today, and they said I was not bad. Sadly, they already have two guitarists, so, I don't know. But, it was fun playing with them biggrin.gif

Awesome! It must have been a great experience. If you think they are good guys and you like the ban visit them more frequently. Maybe you can offer them being their guitar assistant, some king of road stage. You can help them before and during the show, tuning guitars and setting everything. This will give you more experience, it will help you to make more music contacts and maybe, it can then become a job. Cirse's rhythm guitarist was our stage assistant, and now you know, we shared stage with Metallica! smile.gif

They don't tour nowadays, but they surely will... so be ready to work with them. Also, join the recording sessions if they decide to record and EP or album. I really recommend to be there, the more than you can. smile.gif
