I'll let the article do the talking... but it made me physically uncomfortable going through it. In the same way that you would if you looked over the edge of a tall building. That weird feeling that you're just on the edge of something. It's hard to explain.. if anybody else gets that same weird feeling let me know !

That weird feeling that you're just on the edge of something. It's hard to explain.. if anybody else gets that same weird feeling let me know ! http://www.buzzfeed.com/daves4/the-universe-is-scary Btw, I don't know why I put an extra 's' on universe. One is surely enough Well Ben, universes may have a typographical error but you may not be wrong. There are several theories supporting the Multiverse where our seemingly endless universe is merely a bubble in a sea of seemingly endless sea of universes. I, for one, very much enjoy discussing astrophysics and all its sub-genres. One of my favorite things to ponder is that the universe isn't something that's "out there". Its down here, too. Everything we see - past, present, and future - is part of it. As are we. At the atomic level, we are the universe. Carl Sagan said it best when he said "we are star stuff". The atoms that make us us were once inside stars that erupted into super nova more than 4.5 billion years ago. I can go on and on about this but I don't have time. check out "How The Earth Was Made", "Cosmos", and "The Universe" This might get under someone skin ,but who cares, you can't please all the people all the time, eh. This is why I have a hard time with the big bang "Theory" first ,To have the bang (that science believes in) you have to do away with "Laws of therm o-dynamics" (which science also believes in) .And before you go there I am not saying I don't believe in science ,I do and science is Awesome, but it is that they contradict each other and it seems they don't care. According to the Law "you can't get something from nothing", so how in the world (no pun intended)did we get all this energy to power these massive generators for millions of years,I mean we are talking massive amounts here.Science says nothing started swirling and exploded into everything. now I might believe the big bang theory if it wasn't for that Law that states that that can"t happen. And please don't give me that Hawkins garbage about the Law of gravity forced the universe into existence. "Laws" don't create , they merely explain again, check out "How The Earth Was Made", "Cosmos", and "The Universe" -------------------- Carvin 6 string bass (walnut neck and body w/burl maple top)

Yeah, you only have to dip your toe into science and the universe to blow your mind with how much we don't know !
You guys outside of the UK probably won't have seen it but there was an interesting series with Professor Brian Cox and in one of the episodes he explores the possibility of other species, civilizations and the possibility of interaction with one. I can't quite do it justice and I've forgotten a lot of it but the upshot was that due to the unfathomable age of the universe and the fact that human life occupies a blink of an eye in comparison.. the likelihood of entire civilizations existing at the same time is so minute as to make it highly improbable. Or something like that. Found it on BBC iplayer. Not sure if you guys can watch it or not.. if you can, it's only available until Tuesday so get it in quick while it's there http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0276...-3-are-we-alone |

There are however other ways of understanding. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer.
