Hi mate! Great to hear from you here.
I think that the workout that you are learning is great and that you should continue learning it. While you work on it, maybe you can learn this lesson (or any other similar one) to record it in some days and share the video to let me check your current playing... https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Gary-Clark-Jr-Style/ What do you think? -------------------- My lessons

Hi Gab here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhUXIZM3AeU not perfect but hope its not to far , also a little practice peavy amp , not the nicest distortion channel:) Would be super cool if you could make that a full song, in other words a backing track that is 3 minutes long, and has a conclusion.... A suggestion because it is really a nice groove for a beginner . I enjoyed playing it. |

We have a jamtrack in the lesson, have you seen it?
Here you can download it: Jamtrack.mp3 ( 9.31MB ) Number of downloads: 80 The lesson sounds good but now it's time to focus on some details to make it sounds better. There are some differences in some licks so please re-check tabs, and be precise with bending and vibrato. There are also some timing issues to adjust here and there, not only in the solo, also in the second part of the riff (the ending pattern). Please continue practicing it to adjust these details, and start using the jamtrack to practice improvising with the scale. Deal? -------------------- My lessons

Awesome, thank you very much , i didn't notice the jam track , sorry about that. I will work more on the details of it and send another recording when ready. Will also try work within the scale a bit more and see what i can come up with. Thank kindly Gab. I really appreciate it. Its great to get a professionals critic , will definitely help me improve and get to my goals. |
