This arrangement is a combination of a 1974 Ted Greene 'sketch' for a student and many of my own ideas.
I'm usually loathe to mess with the Beatles but I couldn't resist.

That was really nice, Ken. Really cool sounding chord substitutions. I especially liked the ending with that little, almost country style double stop bend before the last chord. It almost sounded like a pedal steel guitar lick.

That's a great method!

Many of the TG arrangements from the website have 'missing' parts. They were usually sketched out for students who were tasked with filling in the missing bits. Or, they were just Ted's notes to himself.

For example; my intro and outro evolved out of necessity. I couldn't come up with voicings that satisfied me so I sort of re-harmonized it.
He didn't write a bridge section (the guitar melody that modulates up a 1/2 step, as in the original) so that's all mine.
When one watched TG play he would almost never repeat a chord voicing in the same section of a tune. A dead giveaway
in an arrangement on his website that was unfinished (or maybe for a student) is when it employs the same exact voicings on the same type and name of chord (all G#m7 chords voiced the same way for example). So in the 'spirit' of Ted I try to come up with at least a new voicing/inversion and many times I stumble upon a nice substitution. Though there are some that I know he wouldn't dig. He'd say they vere too far from the composers intent.
