Just to help you keep going if something's taking longer than you expected.

Well said! Trees only grow on the sides of mountains, not on the tops.

Of course, the negative demon within tells me that I've have failed. I've failed to do it in a reasonable time

Yeah, as a race, humans seem inherently negative. People seem quicker to complain about a meal, for instance, than to compliment the chef. When it's bad, it's not how it should be, so, people complain, when it's good, it is how it should be so people say nothing. Same with learning, we think it should be quick because the masters make it look simple so we moan when it doesn't come quick, when we nail something unusually quickly we think, "why can't it all be that easy?". This creates a never ending cycle.
Sorry if I spoiled this thread but I think it's good to discuss both sides of the coin. Cheers -------------------- SEE MY GMC CERTIFICATE “Success is not obtained overnight. Yeah I look back at old videos and think to myself "wow, I have improved more than I thought I had" then I start thinking "but I should have improved more in that time".
Negativity prevails in my stoopid brain -------------------- SEE MY GMC CERTIFICATE “Success is not obtained overnight.
