You know that your melodic sense always fit with my taste. This sounds very cool and relaxing. Are many great lines ideas in it. As my favorites parts I will point the ones from: 2:20 - 2:34, 4:00 - 4:22, 8:45 - 9:11. BTW from what i see when you jam, you also like to use raking very often. I thought that I'm the only one who love to use this technique in a very "abusive" way. I'm so addicted to it that I would be able to use it on each note (of course I will alternate the raking with double raking...for more variety ). Thanks, Monica! I appreciate the compliments. I like the more slow and melodic stuff too. I want to say I actually prefer to play this way, as it's more comfortable too (no pressure physically, if that makes sense) but it's more emotional of couse. And yes, I thought afterwards when I listened again: "Do I really use rakes that often? Maybe it's too much!". I think it depends on the track, and it can add some extra emotion. Maybe I over-used it though. It's something to think about and be aware of. This is just wonderful playing here. I have put it on my playlist. Your deft and subtle vibrato is paired well with your sense of harmony and melody. I could not find which backing you are using? That guy has several great tracks! I just couldn't find this one. Which one is it? Thanks, Todd! I appreciate the awesome words. I was just kinda noodlnig about without any real purpose, but it came out nice enough. The backing was this one: If you check out his channel and go to Playlists you can actually see a lot of different styles if you scroll down a bit, i.e. explosive rock, seductive blues ballads, wild metal and hard rock etc: https://www.youtube.com/c/ElevatedJamTracks...&shelf_id=0 |
