damn house moving keeps going wrong UNTIL NOW!! my family is moving house next wednesday so i should be able to start building this guitar tongue.gif it will be ready by may probably... i should be done by now, but nevertheless, im going to get it done soonnn!! unless damn house moving goes wrong again, which it wont because my daddy signed a contract smile.gif

Tasks done:
got pickups & most needed electronices

found a tonewood dealer
decided i am gonna have this bridge

yeahhh boy! i got a 1200W electric router the christmas lol along with some other stuff tongue.gif i have no idea how to use it but i will work it out when the time comes smile.gif

Need to do:
Get a neck (as i am not skilled enough to make my own)
But that bridge up there
Buy a output jack
Decide body shape

will be updated everytime something new happens
and when i start cutting the wood, i will put a like a timeline of pictures on one by one as i cut the shape out, polish it up etc...

enjoy (for future references tongue.gif)

Its always cool to replace guitar parts and built them up to your spec's.One thing i noticed though is the bridge you want to install. When i saw that pick i was like ''oh no tongue.gif ''.Atleast for me thats been my experience. The bridge is known as a full action or full body bridge, basically what it is ,is a floyd style floating bridge without locking ''which is here the problem comes in for me atleast''.Maybe it could be that mine is made cheap or something but dude i got mine set-up and not even 4 days later it was back to the bottom 3 strings going out of tune every time i did some good vibrato or full bend mad.gif

Also if your thinking about using a whammy with the bridge Forget-About-It tongue.gif Maybe there is some things you can do to prevent this like, locking tuner's ect ect.I'm just letting you know my experience so just in case you can find out more info on them. Also do you have a pic of the body? What kind of neck are you looking to use?

Good luck with it wink.gif

Kustom DFX100 With Celestion Speakers, and thats it now (lol)

My Advice
Figure out what you want in life early.Wether it's the girl, the partying
or mastering the guitar.Adding any 2 together will get in your way.

blink.gif is the bridge really like that?...i think i willljust get a locking tuner and see how that goes, or i will get some fixed bridge like the 2 piece gibson kaboodle
i actually havnt got a big piece of tonewood yet, i have ordered and told the shop to hold on to it for me until i move to my new house (soon smile.gif) but tis a basswood
and for the neck, i am gona bid on ebay for a neck with 24 fret and not damaged, probably an ibanez one smile.gif and i guess i will also order some locking tuners, probably by that company that i cant remmeber the name at the moment
thanks for caring bout my project wink.gif smile.gif

Just a hint, that problem could be from the machine heads. That's one part of the guitar that's often overlooked, expensive good quality machine heads can do wonders for staying in tune.
