Johnny Marr Anyone?

Johnny Marr anyone? I know this guy is not a shredder, and not the typical guitar hero. But I really thought the work he did with The Smiths back in the 80's was extremely creative, beautiful and original. Anyone else like his playing? I'd love to hear a good Johnny Marr lesson on here.

Sweeping/muting

I bet you've been asked this, but I'm new, so I'm asking.
Your sweep picking is absolutely amazing.
Are you using a palm mute near the bridge to mute the strings?
I've been practicing your Malmsteen lesson 1, and have been getting a lot of noise, I think I keep moving my palm away because I have long fingers.

I wish this site was around when I'd first started playing guitar. I'm so inspired by all the excellent lessons posted on here, it's overwhelming the amount of great playing. It's really cool too there's a lot of non-Americans! It's awesome to see shredding is going on all over the world.
Anyways, thank you for sharing all your experience, and I appreciate how humble you all seem about what you're doing! Rock on.

Weak Wrist/strength Building

Hello. I just started playing again after not for a year or two. I've found my right wrist feels really weak when I'm trying to play sweeps now. All the little muscles around the wrist bones feel atrophied. Anyone have any good exercises they could recommend beyond playing guitar?
