Lesson Recommendations

Apr 22 2008, 05:37 AM	GMC:er Posts: 1.063 Joined: 2-October 06 From: Hawaii	GMC has grown, and the number of lessons are now staggering, many new members want lessons that will help them with certain techniques, but it is hard for them to find the right one because there are so many lessons. I think if there were a little lesson recommendations sub forum it would help them alot. Don't get me wrong the search function is great, but a place where members who have been here longer can share thier expiriences of what lesson helped with a certain aspect of thier playing would be great. It's just easier when you can talk to people about witch lessons you should take on. I realised it when I looked at the thread of people sharing what lessons they have done and witch ones they were working on. I realised that there were many of great lesson I've never even heard of! So ya, if that's not a good idea I'll just ask it here. What lessons will help with my picking and fretting hand accuracy, and that will help sync my two hands? I've searched it and the lesson that poped up was Muris' string skipping lesson! I can do it, just not very fast or clean, I just feel like I'm really pushing it with that lesson. Thanks! I can give you some tips on what lesson (of mine) is good for what you want, but there are many lessons that fall into this category. Try to search something like accuracy, fretting hand, synchronizing etc... I can recommend some of my own lessons for synchronization of the two hands, and a fretting technique: 1. great lesson for pentatonic is pentatonic workshop level 1 2. great lasson for jazz is jazz workshop 2 You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick. I envisage a forum with a number of threads with titles like "Alt Picking Basics". Alt Picking Speed Training" "Alt Picking Advanced". or "Basic Blues", "Intermediate Blues", "Metal Rhythm", etc, and each one conmtains a suggested ordering of lessons to work through. We can cooperate to build each program, and when we are done we can put the results in the Wiki What does everyone else think about this?
