Attached File  Collab___103bpm_short.mp3 ( 519.02K ) Number of downloads: 227

It is reminicent to some of that 70's rock n roll, so you can easily solo over it throwing all you got on it! Blues, rock, pentatonic, chromatic, sweeps, clean, distorted, everything is welcome,

It's basically in Am, we're doing the chords: Am - G - Am - F....then C - G - F

Tempo: 103bpm (The track has been rendered exactly at the start of the first beat so please render your take from that exact point forward too)

Deadline will be: 30th of august/2010

Looking forward for your takes!

Participants so far: (max. 15)

1. Gitarrero
2. Vaidya
3. kaznie_NL
4. MigeZ

Cool BT, I'm in! Kinda reminds me of Sweet Home Alabama, maybe because of the rhythm...?

hehehe it is based on Stairway to heaven!, but it's actually a different chord progression,

I think it's interesting to practice over a very familiar and well known track, but slightly different, to see what your take is in the context,

I was thinking of starting in after the round of chords go by. (Am - G - Am - F....then C - G - F)

But so there's no confusion, i'll put dead notes in there right on the beat until I come in. Is that okay to do that? smile.gif
I'll wait til your uploads thread to do mine, unless you say otherwise. (People already posted theirs I see.) biggrin.gif

Btw, am I supposed to stop the solo with no ending chord at the end of the track? I ask because I was wondering if you had in mind to string them all together as one huge solo. (not like your previous ones where everybody has an ending in theirs.)

Whatever you say - i'll do so., smile.gif

Yes, I'm in.

Yes, I'm in.

so you are thinking on leaving a silence? I mean, there's problem with that, just do what you please,

about the ending, you can do both ways. You can leave it unfinished (just cutting your solo when the track cuts itself), that way the next player will come in inmediatly...OR you can end on your own (a final phrase without backing track), and then the next player will come in after you stop,

either way will work on the final mix, (let's hope....just kidding)
