Hello everyone I enjoy playing the Blues and Metal on guitar. I first started out during Christmas and I hadn't a single clue on what to do, or even how to tell if my guitar was in tune? All I know is I feel in love with it right away. As B.B. King stated "Those six shiny strings." I felt the same way and I immediately started working at becoming great. I didn't start on GMC until about a couple weeks ago and I improved a great deal. I got influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, Metallica, and Van Halen. I suppose I would have never started playing guitar if it weren't for "Guitar Hero." As soon as I could beat all the songs on expert for Guitar Hero 1 & 2 I was curious what it was like to play a real guitar and I have to say it is a lot more fun than I thought. The first song I ever got serious on was "Can't you hear me knockin" By the Rolling Stones because it has a lot of distortion and lets face it, Distortion is cool.
So to end my brief summary of my guitar history and to try and not rant too long.....
That is my introduction. I hope to meet some greater guitarist than I and get to know how they do things and their tricks.
