Yeah, is a good player but IMO is not as good as people usually say. I have read a lot of times that he is a guitarGod and I think that's not true. BTW He is a good player and it's incredible how he can play and sing together, and I really love his style wink.gif

Sure not a guitar god, and he was once asked on some demonstration to play some sweeps and he swept some fast solo and than the guy asked him to play it slow and he couldn't do it wink.gif

Sure not the best but is pretty good player smile.gif

Ahhh, no need to be a Guitar God, he is a fantastic player and creates great music which i really enjoy listening to. That is all that matters to me. The people who say he is a guitar god... that is their opinion, they obviously have not been exposed to many guitarists.

One possible thing is a connection through synth which is really simple. On the other hand - didn't seem like a violin sound to me blink.gif

In an old Guitar World magazine i have (pretty old, from before Hatecrew Deathroll was released) Alexi denied being as good as he people claimed him to be, and then said the real guitar gods were people like Vai, or something like that (He is a big Vai Fan)

Anyway, i think he is an amazing player, completely unique style, and his harmonies he does with Janni Warman (COB's Keyboard Player) Is phenomenal!

Alexi is a great guitarist, not a guitar god but hes really good.. my only problem with him is i think hes a bit of a show hog, Bodoms rythem player is really amazing too yet alexi still does all the solos. Ive also seen a funny video where Alexi challenges Janni Warman to a guitar vs keyboard duel.. i don't think it was planned but the keyboardist made fun of him pritty bad by playing the whole solo that alexi played with 1 hand biggrin.gif

I really like Alexi's neo classical styling and he's certainly one of the more capable players out there in modern music, he's by no means a pioneer but he certainly is closer to the "virtuoso" side of the scale than the "no talent hack" side of the scale.

To think that he plays most leads and sings too is pretty cool.
