I agree, Hangar 18 is the best Megadeth song I've heard. But my favorite M.F. solo is that first video posted - the solo to "Angel" from Marty's album Scenes, although I think that video is from Marty's second instructional video, Melodic Control.

Marty Friedman & Jason Becker, Marty Friedman & Dave Mustain.... Marty Friedman is just a guitar hero. He had played with incredibles musicians. He´s one of my best guitar players!! I like so much he´s solos.

I think Marty Friedman is the greatest guitarist of ALL time, but this is just my opinion.
I haven't ever heard anything from Marty that I didn't like a LOT.

Cacophony, Megadeth, Solo, what ever he just keeps amazing me time after time.


btw. I made a lesson request in style of Marty on the main forum some time from now, but nobody did it, I wouldn't be offended if someone would do one now(WINKWINK)

his DVD Melodic Control is really amazing !!!! is not about exercices, Marty explain how to practice improvisation and how to use tension and weird notes to add some "exotic" feeling... I recomend it !!!

Watching videoes of Marty Friedman inspire me to play the guitar all day.His videoes with Paul Gilbert are amazing too i wish he would go back to megadeth...

Yeah! Megadeth is a great band but, in my opinion, it isn´t the same without Mr. Friedman!!
