Hi!!! Mi name is Mariano Cardoner.
I´m an amateur intermediate Guitar player from Argentina. I´m 45 years old and live in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I´ve joined this site because I want to improve my guitar player skills. I love alternative rock & Hard rock & musically I´m influenced by Breaking Benjamin, Trapt, Crossfade, Nickelback & this caind of stuff. As a guitarist I´m influenced by S. Vai & J. Satriani, Reeb Beach, Edddie Van Halen.
I´m an opened music listener music from Pantera to David Guetta, and I try to pick things of different styles when I compose music,
I play a Gibson Les Paul Standard, a Fender American standard Stratocaster and I when I need 24 FRETS & FR I used to play an Ibanez RG 770, but I´ve recently sold it because I want a more agresive sound so I´ve bought a Schecter Hellraiser extreme FR (a new model that looks very nice and powerfull sound). Any comments about this guitar???
My amp is an old ROLAND JC 120 (I would like to have a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, but I can´t afford it at this time) and in the floor I have a BOSS GT-10 and a Dunlop Cry Baby.
Any lesson you can recommend to me in order to improve my style I will be gladd to learn it!!!
Best Regards!!

Thanks Bogdan!!! Incredible sound!!! Tell me, if it´s possible... I have a Boss GT10 and The JC 120. Is it possible to get any effects configuartion to get that type of distorition? I really love It.
GT-10 has a type of of Dualrectifier preamp effect, but I cant get that raw and agressive and, at the same time, clean sound, my distoriotion allways sound a little bit soft and dirty, so I think is a matter of effect configutration. I would appreciate if you have any suggestions!!
Thank´s a lot and regards!!!

Hay Dark dude!!
Have you seen that guy, he´s amazing!!! I love his solos!!! Regards!!

Welcome to GMC, Mariano! smile.gif I'm sure you'll have a great time here and also learn a lot. smile.gif I'd recommend you look up some of the guitarists you mentioned as your influences, because there are many lessons in style of Vai, Satriani and others on the site wink.gif

Cheers!
