Heya folks, it's been a very long time!
I have recently fallen in love with a song that I can not for the life of me find the tab for, nor can I figure out how to transcribe it.
Word on the street is that it's from MintJam. Here are two Youtube links that will give you a better idea of what song I'm talking about.
http://www.mintjam.net/mj/ is the website that has similar content to the song I'm about to show you.

(Full song with lyrics. I appologize for the video...it was the only HQ video I could find for the song)

(Someone playing the song with I think a few extra solo parts. Not sure. Not HQ)
So essentially I love the song to death. Someone mentioned that it was in E-minor, though I am unsure. I'm not too good at the theory yet to know for sure.
My ultimate predicament is that I can't transcribe it into tabs and would like help. I was wondering if anyone wouldn't mind helping me take the song apart and create at least a rough sketch of how to play this piece of music.
Thanks in advance everyone! I hope you are all doing well!
Rain
P.S. Another fantastic song I love by MintJam is CRYING MOON. I can't get enough of these songs! : )

The main song with lyrics can be found on the MintJam website I linked above.
Have a good day everyone
P.S.2. I feel like I should just keep adding to this since I haven't interrupted any conversation yet... Sorry for so many additions
I guess in addition to emulating this song, I was wondering what the best way to achieve this kind of sound is. If it ultimately comes down to just knowing what scale to work from that will be sufficient for now. I just would like to begin playing this kind of music. : )
That is one sweet peice of guitar work! I certainly couldnt tab it out, but I could work out the key and chord progression if knowone else can offer you what your looking for.
Sorry man, I wish I could help you more
Hey i love this song!!!
I tried to figure it out too!
when they said it is in E minor they were kinda correct
its actually in E FLAT minor because the band tunes their guitar down a half step, from there all i know is that the intro riff pedals on the open e flat string.
i lovelovelove mintjam
Thanks folks for your replies I'm glad that I'm not the only one that keeps an eye on this band! So E flat Minor...that should help. I guess I should sit down with that scale and really see if I can start to hear every note in that scale in the same areas that the guitarist is playing. That might give me just the leg-up that i need to get started rocking that piece of music.
mattacuk, definitely work out the progression man : ) The more help the marrier I say. Let's get this piece taken care of
bump for great justice
Rain, I think you should definitely try to transcribe this your self, you mentioned that you played 1.5 years....
Also, I suggest you to start working on theory, that is something you can't avoid, and it would be of tremendous help.
All that will be more then enough to begin on developing your style or learning that style of this great band!
I agree with Vasilije here. Try to transcribe things yourself. Get actual recording and play it through Windows media player (it has a slow down option!) or get software Transcriber which is awesome for this sort of work
