Here you can put your uploads guys, and for this collab we have some simple rules. If you follow them you will make this collab better and my job a lot easier:

1. Post video file with your guitar playing as audio (with our without the backing)
2. Post audio file with your guitar playing without backing
3. Post audio file with your guitar playing with backing
4. Post the files before the deadline which is - 25th of December

Ideally I would need only two files if you can do it:

1. Video file with your guitar solo with backing (quality of audio isn't important)
2. Audio file with you guitar solo without backing (quality of audio is important)

The backing is in the key of B minor:

Hey Ivan. I'm going to post audio takes now and video tomorrow. Sorry it's messy. I was playing outside of my playing standard a bit biggrin.gif

What's the chordprogression Ivan? The intervals match F#aeolian anyway.

@OC Sounds great mate, thanks for posting the take so fast. It means a lot smile.gif

@kjutte I'm not completely sure about the progression, it's in the key of Bminor, and all are powerchords. If you think F# Aeolian sounds good, sure you can play it mate, whatever you think it's cool. It's just that G that is used here does not belong to F#minor scale, so it can sound a bit strange, but you can try to use F#m pentatonics if you want to give a tune a bit of a F#minor/A major flavor.

The progression goes something like this:

Bm - D - E
that's mainly in the first part

and in the second part it will go a couple of times on G and A majors.

Here is my video of the take. Out of sync the tiniest bit. But more annoyingly I tried to make it brighter and I think it's darker than my last video biggrin.gif

I heard B natural minor in there , the main riff B D E all power chords and coming back (E D B A cool.gif etc. At some point there is F# G A going to B all power chords again.
Cool thing is first section (B D E riff) you could play B aeolian or B dorian and of course minor pentatonic, blues scale even spice it up with major pentatonic.
The second section you can spice up with some B harmonic minor over F# and G power chords but again B natural minor and minor pentatonic will work for everything no problem.
wink.gif

Quick Edit - As far as 3 note chords go first part could be B minor , D major, E minor coming back E minor , D major B minor A major. Second part could be F# minor G major A major B minor.
Thats as simple as possible all related to B aeolian/natural minor scale.

OK guys, I'm urging you to hurry up the takes a bit, cause it's 18th December. I will not extend the deadline which is 25th of December, cause Holidays are ahead, so the sooner you record the less hurry will be later for all of us smile.gif Thanks!
