Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Well played! smile.gif I"d go 7.4 just to motivate you to tweak it just a bit and perfect it. It's a well played solo so well done there! Some of the timing is just a fraction of a beat late, and generally in solo work it's better to be just a fraction early rather than late b ut best to hit it on the head. Also about 29 seconds in there is a complex fingering that is worth a second look. I'd say give it one more pass! That said, YOU RAWK!

Nice take man! The things that you must improve is the pitch of your bends, there are many bends that don't reach the correct pitch. There are also some little timing issues but nothing too serious. There isn't a poll to grade...

Hey man that's a cool take and a great solo, i think you did it nice but you gotta work on your vibrato and on the final correct pitch of bends, that requires a bit more of strength but you are doing it nice already.

I will give you an 7, i want you to do it again, it's not an easy solo to play and everyone gotta master the angus young playing smile.gif

I agree with the feedback the other guys gave you. You should be more confident in hitting the strings harder and bending them more aggressively just like Angus does. Also make sure YOU ARE IN TUNE or the intonation of the guitar is setup correctly.

Very nice take man. You played nicely with decent tone. The guys are right, you need to fix those bends. They need to be more aggressive, more faster, more in pitch. It will sound cool, just take your time.

I agree with the guys:

- give us a poll so we can grade you
- bend those strings like your life depends on it biggrin.gif aggressive and in pitch!
- pay attention to the timing (AC/DC is all about grooving rhythm and attitude!)

Alright soldier! off to practicing and I'm sure you'll make an awesome take after working on the points above! wink.gif

Hey man, definitely keep practicing it as you are very close. Unfortunately, we can't publish famous lessons on the scoreboard. But the feedback is the most valuable! smile.gif
