What Is Your Guitar Goal For 2011?

Happy 2011 GMC!

I've been thinking about things that I'd like the upcoming year to contain and I was wondering what everyone's guitar goal is for 2011. It could be something as simple as learning a new scale or it could be taking your skill level from a 3 to a 9!

One of my personal goals is to learn "Always with Me, Always with You" by Joe Satriani. That is one of my favorite instrumental songs of all time and I really would love to be able to play the whole thing, so that is one of my goals.

What are your goals?

I was thinking that one good goal for me should be to put three more level 6 lessons up on the REC during 2011 so I can become a "Tone Master". After that, I want to get into writing riffs and songs, maybe instrumental a bit more and keep working on my chops in general.

Great question. I'd like to record more, play more and write more and "work" less smile.gif
