My wife and I had a no more guitars rule and then she bought me one for Father's Day, lol. Go figure. 🤣

There is a solution to this wink.gif
Rotate the "living room" guitar constantly.
Only buy guitars that are the same colors as what you already have.

I've only owned the Jem Jr. for less than a year but when I got it I was super impressed with how well it played. I thought for sure I must have been lucky because you can read a lot of people slagging them in online comments. But maybe they're just haters.🙄. I still love to play it but after getting this new Kiko signature premium I can see more where the Jem Jr is lacking and the premium excels. Immediately I notice the difference in the neck playability and the tone from the pups is waaay better. When I got the Jr I kind of knew it was going to be a project guitar and I had plans to replace the trem and pickguard and maybe the pups down the road. Two of those upgrades are almost complete. I am really enjoying the guitar though, it wasnt that expensive and I feel I'm definitely getting my money's worth. 👍

Allright nice man.
Yes thats with guitars. Every guitar plays different but you have to feel and play to know if it fits you smile.gif
Nice. What pups do you want to put in?

I have a squir which plays so well i also changed pups. I put there bare knuckle pups in. Really wel pkayable guitar

I'm loving the sound of these Dimarzio Evolution pups in my new Ibby although I think they are slightly modded for Kiko's preference. So possibly a set of those. Gonna be a while before that happens though. I still have to get the new bridge installed. It's a project so I don't mind taking my time with it.

Those pups look great there imho. Since it's a sig guitar, they put his dimarzio pups in so you should be good to go smile.gif I can't wait to hear thing in action!

I think the question above may have been about swapping pups in your mikro?

Is mikro another name for the Jem Jr? What I meant was I'd be happy with just some Dimarzio Evolutions to swap in place of the Quantums (I believe that's what they are) in the Jr.

My bad! Yes the Jem jr smile.gif Getting my ibbys confused!! smile.gif Yeah, the Evolutions would be great in the JR imho! I'm not a huge fan of the quantums. It's always a good idea to keep in line with Dimarzios on ibbys as Ibbys often use Dimarzios in their higher end guitars.

Excellent, then that is the plan, thanks Todd. I'm not sure if I realized how bad the Quantums were or how good these DiMarzio KIKO originals are, lol. Maybe both. 😁
