Cheers for all the feedback so far, I'll make a set list of lessons / songs I'll work towards mastering before buying that guitar.

Yeah, when I sit I play with the guitar on my left knee, in classic acoustic position. Playing a V or a Rhoads seated would require it to be placed similarly to that, so that's no issue for me. I also do practice most lessons and songs standing up as well as seated. So standing isn't a problem.

Well yeah, physically speaking that will work. However, what I mean is that this particular guitar is made to ROCK OUT or SLAY THE BEAST or whatever. Playing it sitting down just isn't the same.
