Hi Everyone!

This is my first song which I wrote in 2007 when I started playing the guitar. At that time I was playing the drums in a power metal band and wished to help in the in song writing as well so this was my first try. smile.gif Unfortunately this is all midi exported from guitar pro, but I hope You can enjoy it. I wrote all the guitar stuff in live, but everything else (syth, bass etc.) I wrote in guitar pro. At that time I started to learn scales, modes and everything else (still learning... smile.gif ), so probably there are some musical mistakes in combining the synth and the guitar musically. smile.gif
Any feedback would be very much welcomed!

Thanks very much,
Gabor

This is cool, although the sound is pretty cheap for todays standards. I suggest importing MIDI into DAW and assigning some good VST instruments to tracks.

Hi Ivan!

Thanks very much for the response! I'm planning to record this song in my friend's studio next year sometime when it will complete. Although...I'll have trouble with the drum recordings, because I sold my drumset this year, and quit drumming permanently, but I have some drummer friend so hope we can solve somehow. smile.gif Recording the synth will be a funny part too, because I can't play it at all, I wrote it using the tab music sheet input of the guitar pro program. smile.gif
Second issue: I have to write to the last part some nice guitar solo which I can play with my current skill... or...I will skip that part... smile.gif
Third: I have to write some lyrics which is not my best. sad.gif It is very important, because finally I want to record my voice as well, I like singing very much.
Anyway: What is this method which You wrote about? (Import into DAW and assigning VST instrument) I'm not so familiar with it. sad.gif

Thanks,
Gabor
