Focusing on few things at the same time is hard,
but after a while and when you set everything nicely you probably won't need to focus that much on many things cause everything will be in place, as it should be. Comes with the time. -------------------- Youtube

If you want to work on it, there's a lot of string skipping exercises that would really help you (maybe search eric johnson in the lesson search-he uses a lot of them.) This is one thing that makes fingerstyle guitar very hard, because you have to concentrate on which right-hand finger hits which string.

Look at the topic for my guitar... Finished Guitar Build Gear: Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!) Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :) Line 6 spider amp (not actually used for anything, just acts as a speaker) Digitech Gnx2 (kind of old, but cheap, and sounds amazing!) |

Comes with the time. I agree with Muris. Before I used to pay attention what I am doing with the right hand but when my picking got developed to a higher level I completely ignore that hand and keep focus on the left one. -------------------- Check out my <a href="https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/instructor/Emir-Hot" target="_blank">Instructor profile</a>

I keep my focus on the left hand most of the time. If there is need I focus on the right hand as well, mainly on slower tempos.

Hmmm I'm usually focused on my left hand in order not to miss a fret when changing positions etc. But if its a harder part for the right hand, I switch my focus to it (when slapping bass for example).
