This came up as a topic in my English Class today, we had some pretty neat answers, so lets hear yours.

Mine would be Fantasy, it has nothing to do with real life, which i like, it provides a good escape for me. And a good fantasy book can have elements of everything, Horror, Mystery, Drama, Comedy even, its just a very diverse genre. smile.gif

Hmm. I am split between SciFi and Fantasy - I love both equally, but I am reading a Fantasy book at the moment so I chose that.

I love a good fantasy novel. I love a good comedy, divine comedy that is(Dante's Inferno)! So I guess that will count as religion too. I also love reading about space, and astrology.

Couldn't wait for the year 1999 to finaly be here.... then it did and all I ask now is - where's that moon base already? laugh.gif

A bit different but mine's not on the list as it's philosophy - preferably 20th C Continental but I'll take pretty much as long as it's not English Logic. Believed it or not I do read it for relaxation and even take it, much to my wife's annoyance, as a holiday read.

If I had to stay on the list then Sci-fi.

Cheers,
Tony

I don't have one favourite subject and I don't even know what genre some of my favourite books are. Sure, I love dystopias, like 1984 and Fahrenheit 451, but I also really like some stuff like The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart and some stuff by Strindberg (even though I find most of his works horribly boring). So I really don't know, and I also like fantasy and stuff.. So I basically have no idea laugh.gif I picked a combination of two though, I think it fits my taste more than anything else.
