After searching high and low for an RG565, I think I"m gonna switch to looking at these as they are roughly the same price! The 20 plus year old RG565 are going for $600 on Ebay and this new RG3XXV is just a bit more new!
Not to mention they are (thank goodness) using ALNICO DIMARZIO AIR NORTON pickups, just as the original RG 3/5 series used Alnico's for their distinctive tone. This just looks amazing and I am gonna have to sell a kidney to get one! http://www.ibanez.com/ElectricGuitars/model-RG3XXV
