Beginner's Course Guideline, Take the sightreading Challenge !

Hello Folks,

After found that many of you are interested in sightreading and some of you have to sit sightreading exams I thought to develop my course to help you.

I am going to introduce you 3 level's of sightreading drills.(beginner's intermidiate,& advanced level)
Here is the Beginner's course.
At the end of this course you should be able to  

  1. Recognize Open string notes.
  2. Recognize notes within 3 frets region.
  3. Read any rythem with whole notes,half notes & quarter notes in 2/4,3/4 and 4/4 beat.
  4. Read any rythem with whole notes,half notes & quarter notes in 2/4,3/4 and 4/4 beat with whole,half and quater rests.
Here are some guidelines to follow the course.

1. Go through the drills in order.(when you have done all the drills atleast once you can chose anyone you like and practise it)

2. Some of the drills are come with guitar pro files some aren't.All the drills are in picture format.

3. Always Keep a steady rythem (If possible use a metronome but with a slow tempo)

Learn the notes in 3 frets' area

Improve your rythem reading in2/4,3/4 & 4/4 (beats without rests)

Drill 11

Improve your rythem reading in 2/4, 3/4 & 4/4(with Quarter rests) & introduction to the ClapZ technique
Drill 12
Drill 13
Drill 14

Improve your rythem reading in 2/4,3/4 & 4/4 (with Half rests)
Drill 15
Drill 16
Drill 17

 
Improve your rythem reading in 2/4,3/4 & 4/4 (with Whole rests)
Drill 18
Drill 19
Drill 20
