In this Quick Licks, we use our left hand to tap on two adjacent strings and our right hand to tap a pattern on a single string. The left hand shape is a simple power chord, just tapped instead of strummed. Once you get the left had going, the right hand part is simple, just two notes. This is an odd pattern than you may not be used to but it's worth learning as it will expand your lick vocabulary quite a bit. Give it a go!

Take 1 Sarge, I came across a clean patch I liked and went with it but I can re-render with distortion if you want me to wink.gif

Congrats on getting this one down! I've come down with whatever cold is being passed around so forgive me if I seem loopy. This one is tricky all the way around. It's the type of lick many folks would play with a fret wrap but you don't need one smile.gif Just the timing can feel odd but you play it quite smooth. You got it!

Sorry to hear that buddy, my wife and I have just got over a right stinker of a cough and cold that we had from before Christmas. My cough chocked up many QL takes, usually when I was on a good one rolleyes.gif

I've finally got some day quill and am feeling much better. I was bed ridden yesterday. This years flu was bad. People in GA have actually died from it. I even had my dang shot. I probably posted pure nonsense for the past couple of days, I've been just out of it.

NICE!! This is a tricky thing that requires you to keep time with your fretting hand and hit two notes that don't both get tapped with the picking hand. So you gotta strike twice with the fretting hand on two strings, yet hit only one string with the picking hand. The timing is fairly odd, this lick is a bit odd. You nail it with no trouble at all. NICE!!

You just..
LEVELED UP!!!!!
