As for the line 6 amps this is one of their finest. When it first came out it was the best of the best when it came to modeling amps. The tones are top notch and the versatility is amazing.

I actually now prefer the line 6 spider valve because the tube amp part make the modeling more responsive to your playing. I've heard rumors that line 6 is working on making a tube driven vetta. If it true that will truly be a monster.

What do you wish to use the amp for? For home practice it's way to loud, I'd buy a vox 100 watt with a button to dial down the Wattage.

Hi Kaz,

It is for live performance with my band.

We want to play lots of different styles ( Funk, blues, rock, pop rock)

I have a Line6 variax they seems that they work well with this amp because of de digital interface.

I never had the chance to try the Vetta 2, but have wanted to get one for a very long time.
Then I bought a Mesa Mark IV which I'm really happy with now.
Vetta 2 is still something I would love to try out!

the vetta II is an awesome amp!

i almost got a Vetta 1 half stack the other day when i saw it like new for $450

Michael romeo from symphony X uses them!

they are great for recording,

they are great and reliable for live play

and you can use them in the bed room..yes 150 watts is loud, but its solid state so you can have some control over that

its probably the only line 6 id ever buy
