not being very fluent with effects.I am practicing Rock you like a hurricane.I am wondering how to figure out which effects and their general settings to help my sound

For that sound, I would think to use a crunch box and a little delay through a clean amp. But Gab has right, tell us what gear you use. |

I would go for a not too distorted vintage type of tone for the riffs and and boosting this a bit and adding delay for the lead sections.|

Big 'crunch' tone (rhythm guit) with 1/8 delay. One, maybe two repeats and some reverb (added post rec on the orig track).
Lead has a little more drive on it but the delay and verb actually sound the same. A little more of it in the mix though. -------------------- - Ken Lasaine
