A guy I used to listen to wrote the lyrics

I do think Rock n Roll can change the world
but I learnt the guitar just to pick up girls

I've always loved to sing and at age 9 I had the opportunity to take group guitar lessons at my local Saturday morning music school.

My parents thought it would be something I got bored of quickly like everything else, and here we are 30 years later, which does beg the question, 'If I'd practiced with focus and discipline for even half the time I've been playing how much better would I be now?!!!

A few biggrin.gif

Actually I would say I got most of my girlfriends ( and additional female attention) as a result of playing guitar.

What a cool job indeed, Alex biggrin.gif Most of the times, it doesn't feel like a job, that's one of the nicest parts in my opinion tongue.gif

I started to like Metal/Rock, when my mother bought me an album from Ramstein called "Mutter" which means "Mother" in english wink.gif
I wanted to play Guitar and tried to play an old righthanded Guitar. It just didnt work well for me and i gave it up. A few years later i tried it again with n electric guitar; righthanded again. After a few months I bought myself a lefthanded guitar. I noticed that it works much better ^^. Thats my story tongue.gif

Buddy, you have to see them live - it's the ultimate live show experience wink.gif I am far from being a fan of their music, but the gigs...man oh man!

I've seen them in 2010 at Sonisphere in Bucharest with Alice in Chains and Stone Sour - honestly speaking I went to see the gig for AIC and Stone Sour biggrin.gif But then I said, hey, while I'm here, let's check out Rammstein as well. I never regretted it and I had an interesting watching partner alongside my friends - William DuVal from AIC tongue.gif He came in the audience to watch and I spoke with him a bit smile.gif Of course, very down to earth and friendly.
