My Guitar Won't Scream, Problem with metal bends

I found out that my guitar won't sound as Lians guitar when I bend at the 5th fret. This is a problem for me with some of the other metal-lessons too. When I bend, It doesn't sound like my guitar "screams" correctly. I tried turning up my amp, turning up the gain controls, different sounds on my board. And you're right I think my vibrato-technique could be better. It's all over the guitar, not only 5th fret. Thank you all for your help. (If it doesn't help I'll blame on my cheap guitar) Yeeeeeeees! Lian does a pinch harmonic and then applies heavy vibrato. Practice harmonics and vibrato separately and then combine the two. They can be tricky to get down, but it's definetly worth it, so my advice is o practice that and keep practicing it untill you get them down. There shouldn't be a problem to get them down on a cheap guitar, but they get louder if you have more gain on your amp, but your goal should be to make them shound properly on a clean channel or an acoustic guitar (allthough they obviously won't really scream, but it's a good indication of the fact that you've got the technique down properly) You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick.
