GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Leaving On A Short Trip To London

Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you know I'm going on a small trip to London tomorrow, I'll be back on Monday.
I was there many years ago when I was a kid, can't really remember anything appart from the Big Ben

I'm sure it will be fun. What was that street full of music shops? Denmark st.? I believe I heard you guys talk about it here in the boards.

Oh well, that's it. Expect this week's GMC Funnies issues as soon as I'm back, I will miss the site & my guitars

Off Oxford street, there's a music store called Ivor Mairants Musiccentre where they stock Fret-King guitars. HTop of the line are their hand made in the UK, less expensive is their Blueline models which are made in Korea.

I could very well think of a Blue line model guitar.... if you'd ever get the idea

Enjoy trip! In Camden Town neigborhood you will find some pubs with really good rock lives (and really good beer)

As I remember it yes Denmark Street and Tottenham Court Road (Denmark Street is just off TCR) in the city centre at one end of Oxford Street. A little bit away is Chappell - I think that's on Bond Street (also off Oxford Street).

If you can get out of the centre Chandlers is worth a visit - think it's out in Richmond...

Short trips to big cities are fun, so enjoy your stay in London. The guitar section at Harrod's is pretty cool.
