Apparently, on Kris Dahl's corporate website, rock-my-web.com, it says that he took over ownership of GMC. So this means that somebody or someone previously owned GMC. So, the question is - Who Owned GMC?

Nobody. Your misunderstood it, I think. Kris founded GMC.

It does say "took over" though:

The company Rock My Web was founded in May 2007 by Kristofer Dahl and Maria Gasch. In July, the company took over the ownership of http://../, including copyrights to the video archive, the community and membership base, and the sales of subscriptions and instruction DVDs.

First Kris started GMC, then Kris made Rock-My-Web which officially took over GMC then. I think.

Andrew owns it. He just uses Kris as a front man for image, Kris looks more like the shredder type. Actually Kris drives a Taxi in Stockholm. He just plays air guitar on his videos.

I think this is closer to the truth. Kris is really a candidate for the olympics, but wasn't able to be a part of this years Bejing games, because of the shoppingmall incident
As always, I read this on a internet forum... So it has to be true!

Also, I've heard that Mr Guitartube does not like pickles....

Noone owns Gmc. Kris Dahl / Guitar Tube/ Ostrich Man/ Creator of So You Think You Can Dance Swede , is all just a myth. Its just a silly little tradition that was past on from shredder to shredder ( athlete to athlete , bird watcher to bird watcher, dancer to dancer etc. etc.)

Kris is just a myth and a legend. Noone can play that good. Sorry for the bad news
