Hiss/buzz When Recording, GT-PRO

My gt-pro is silent and nice, but when I arm it for recording it starts to hiss/buzz like... yeah. It happents if I use it usb -> laptop, DI -> Mbox, with poweramp and cab, with headset, yeah. When I arm it for recording in reaper, Pro Tools, anything - it starts to hiss. It's not that obvious when I'm playing distorted stuff, but whenever theres no note rining, it's a lot of buzz. It is especially noticable when playing clean. I can have the most beautiful clean sound, but when I arm it for recording, it buzzes and distortes up. Anyone know of the problem? Thanks. That usually only affects what goes to track, not what's monitored. if input monitoring is suddenly enabled automatically it could be that your summing hardware out with a software out - they have different gain stages. does it sound even slightly different on playback than it did while recording? Maybye my pickups picks up something, but I can't understand whats going on. It's the Mbox 2, and Vista. But the problem is there if i only use the GT-PRO's USB out to laptop as well, so the problem is not in the mbox. Edit: Turning on ground-switch on my GT-PRO seems to have somewhat sorted it out.
