i have a toneport gx (the smalled one) and i was wondering if there was a way i could hook it up to a cab...i know i could always buy louder speakers, but i dont want to buy a new amp, i rather just keep my tone port

also, what about the one with the midi keyboard on it? i was thinking of upgrading to that one for xmas...will that be able to have a cab hooked up to it (it has more inputs/outputs)

If you want to hook up your tone port to a cabinet you would need a power amp to power the speakers. Then you use your toneport as a preamp I suppose...could work. I saw a dude that used to do that with his pod 2.0....

Right, toneport/pods don't have their own power stage, they are like preamps, so an amp is needed somewhere in the chain for them to be heard.
