I showed up for work this morning and everyone's in a costume except for me...
I feel kindof like I'm the only one who showed up for work with a costume on.

that's what you get for being a loner! biggrin.gif

Based on various TV shows Im led to believe that Americans really get into Halloween in a big way but tbh I thought that was just in 'TV land', Is Halloween really that big in the US?

Ive yet to see anyone in a costume so far today.

yeah here in the states, Halloween is 2nd to Christmas. Although i'm old(er) now and i don't go to as many parties as i used to, i still consider All Hallow's Eve to be my favorite holiday, mainly for its origins and history.

pretty much - don't know what the attraction is, but we're definitely into costumes and parties.

I can totally get on board with that side of it smile.gif I would have loved to have seen some of the old gatherings they had for Samhain. It must have been a wild night back in those times!
