Not entirely NAMM related, but this was the guy I mentioned earlier in the thread. He's the singer of the Danish band Defecto. He went to NAMM, and I think he also had had a talk beforehand with http://www.steinerkrausguitars.com/ to make a custom guitar for him. This is the end product:
I have never been too much a fan of that shape, but for some reason, with that "colour"/wood I think it's okay. I must say I did enjoy that Did you guys notice the DOUBLE TAPPING hammer bit? The way it flowed in to a bendy bluesy bit? The smoothness of his transition, the power of his technique, and above all, the soulful nature of his phrasing. Impressive. I gotta say, it almost reminded me, in parts, of something I'd play given that backing track.
